As Hurricane Sophia closes in on a Gulf deepwater rig, safety inspector Lucas Li and driller Beaux Fontenot collide and catch fire—then Lucas has to choose what survives the storm: his rulebook or the life he wants with Beaux.

As the storm closes in, the oil rig turns into a pressure cooker.
