Claimed by the Mountain Man

After getting lost in the Oregon backcountry, Cole ends up at an isolated cabin where a wary mountain man offers him shelter for the night—and becomes a lot harder to leave behind than the trail Cole lost.

Cole didn't come to Oregon looking for a fresh start. He came because everything waiting for him back home had already fallen apart. When a hike goes wrong and a storm traps him deep in the woods, he ends up at Reed's cabin with nowhere else to go. Reed is wary from the start, but he still lets Cole inside.

What begins as a night of shelter turns into something more dangerous than the storm. Reed has built his life around distance. Cole knows better than to trust something just because it feels good. But with the mountain cut off around them and nowhere to hide from each other, neither one walks away the same.
